Naomi Watts is very frank about her sex life with her new husband Billy Crudup

Naomi Watts shared her sexual experience with new husband Billy Crudup and the challenges of maintaining a libido during menopause.

Earlier this year, Naomi married Eat and Pray star Billy on June 9 in a very modest engagement ceremony. The couple talk about how they are still on their "honeymoon" of their relationship.

Speaking at an exclusive event at the Canoe Place Inn & Cottages after Thursday's dinner, Naomi said that "communication was the 'master key' to her romance with Billy and it made for great sex."

The King Kong star previously opened up about going through early menopause at the age of 36 and feeling exhausted due to bouts of irritability. This was the impetus behind the launch of her wellness brand Stripes.

In one of her talks, which was on "Unlocking Intimacy: Navigating Passion in Middle Ages," she talked about how sex life becomes more enjoyable as you get older.

During a panel discussion on menopause with physicians Susanne Fenske and Somi Jawaid, Naomi said, “Tonight we heard that there are complications to sex, libido. But sometimes people have the exact opposite effect.

In fact, I think it was a couple of generations ago and the talk about what menopause really is…. There was a story behind it, and some of the women were nymphomaniacs. We were like crazy old crows who had too much desire for sex,” she added with a laugh.

“It seems to me that sex becomes more enjoyable with overcoming the fear of having a baby…. When you realize now is not the right time to do it. What is this expression... "It's closed for business, but open for pleasure!"

The reason for this was the use of estrogen patches when they first met and lived together for several months.

“I think it’s a little personal… but at the beginning of our relationship, I wore a patch and often worried about the fact that my new lover might see her,” admitted Naomi.

The remnants of the patch that remained on the skin of the mother of two children reminded me: “I clearly remember the words of the doctor at the beginning that you need to go and buy laundry oil that you use at home to remove it. Because it's very sticky and lasts for days.. It's like a bullet wound when the glue just sits there!

Recalling moments when Billy and Amy were about to have sex early on in their romance (of course, it wasn't long before then), she said, “I went to the bathroom the day before intimacy; there I acted as a grater for the girl’s body, and then I left with a joyful message: “Are you healthy?”?
