There is a double standard in society when it comes to the demand for sexual services. On the one hand, men who turn to prostitutes or use other sexual services are often not condemned or even encouraged. On the other hand, women who provide these services are stigmatized and condemned by society.

One reason for this may be a patriarchal culture in which a woman is often perceived as an object to satisfy a man's sexual needs. This attitude towards professional sex workers results in them being often viewed as an inferior class of people, undeserving of respect and compassion.

In addition, sexuality is often associated with morality and religion, which leads to the fact that any expression of sexuality outside the framework of “traditional” relationships is considered unacceptable. This leads to stigmatization of people involved in sexual activity, including prostitutes.

Another reason for stigmatization may be the unfair perception that sex work is immoral or criminal. In reality, many people who engage in these activities do so not because of a lack of alternatives or a desire to break the law, but because of personal circumstances, life difficulties or choices.

Ultimately, stigmatizing the demand for sexual services is harmful not only to those providing these services, but also to society as a whole. It contributes to increasing social inequality, violence and even the spread of infectious diseases. It is therefore important to combat double standards and stigma to ensure a safe environment for those who engage in sex work and protect their rights and dignity.
