Marza Towo, 43, says she experiences so-called nocturnal orgasms, sexual arousal that occurs during sleep and wakes a person up to experience an orgasm.

TV presenter Davina McCall, 55, recently shared that she also climaxed while sleeping - multiple times.

Marza can't remember when she first had orgasms in her sleep, but she says she only started having them after she started having sex.

All of her previous relationships have "been with guys," but Marza has found that her nocturnal orgasms only happen when she has "hot dreams" about women.

"Intense" orgasms don't happen too often to Marza, but when they do, they're "crazy and throbbing."

The intensity of the sensations "always" wakes her up, but she can't have more than one in one night, and they usually only happen "a few times a year".

Marza, a sex, love and relationship coach from Florianopolis, Brazil, said: “Night orgasms are much more intense than normal orgasms.

“You will sleep wondering if you are awake or dreaming and you will just feel deep contractions in your pelvic floor.

“This always happens to me when I have hot dreams. I usually exchange contacts with another woman or other women.

“I believe that you can tune in to them, even if you are asleep, and be fully aware that they are happening.

“I think it's great that Davina talks about nocturnal orgasms to make them seem more normal. I'm all for celebrities talking publicly about orgasms in general, to normalize them.

"Night orgasms can really feel like a mystery sometimes, but try not to worry about it - just relax and enjoy them."

Marza didn't even realize that women could have nocturnal orgasms and says it was due to a lack of education about them.

“I think that’s why my wet dreams are related to women as well,” she said.

“My sexuality is more open to women because I grew up around so many whores.

“I dated guys and they only wanted to have sex their way, on their own terms.”

She admits that nocturnal orgasms have undoubtedly affected her sex life, but she worries that it could be bad.

“I constantly compare my nocturnal orgasms to the orgasms I have with a partner,” she said.

“They are much stronger during my sleep. I have really crazy nights thanks to the nocturnal orgasms - they tighten and throb, I love that.
