So why do vegans claim better sex?
Red meat can become a filling meal that often leaves you feeling sluggish and sleepy, which is not the sexiest mood. While vegetables do not cause puffiness or fatigue in the same way. Experts also link serotonin levels to levels of oxytocin, the "love hormone" that creates stronger feelings of intimacy and affection.

A recent study by the health food chain Holland & Barrett found that 35% of Londoners who eat a vegan diet have increased libido.

People who avoid animal products smell "significantly" better than those who don't.

Sex and relationship expert Annabelle Knight agrees, adding that veganism can even affect how we taste and smell.

“Switching to a plant-based diet can improve your smell and taste. A 2006 body odor and diet study found that people who avoid animal products smell "significantly" better than those who don't, and - as a sexual note for those with a penis - your sperm will also taste much better. !” she says.
