Sisters Abigail and Brittany Hensel were born on March 7, 1990, in the United States. Their parents refused to have a separation operation because the chance of survival was minimal due to shared blood flow. The girls have one body - each has their own heart, kidneys, stomach, spinal cord and brain. Each controls a leg and an arm. But all the organs below the waist are shared. The sisters recently turned 34. And so Abigail fell in love and got married. Brittany is still waiting for her love, but she and her sister have sex one on two .Hensel became world famous after appearing on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 1996. In the 2000s, American TV channels filmed a show about them: the girls led a fairly active and typical for their peers life. They graduated from high school and college on a par with other kids, traveled with friends in Europe, got a driver's license.

The Siamese twins disappeared from the media field a decade and a half ago. They were talked about again in March 2024, when Abigail showed a photo from the wedding with Josh Bowling. It turned out that she legalized the relationship in 2021, but preferred not to advertise it. Abby's husband is a hospice nurse and a U.S. Army veteran. He is legally married to only one sister, but her Siamese twin Brittany lives with them in the girls' home state of Minnesota.

They were ordinary teenagers. But with a shared body.
Hensel has two heads with separate necks and one body for two: two limbs each, two spines, two stomachs, two hearts, three lungs and three kidneys, but one liver, shared circulatory and reproductive systems. Abby controls the right side of the body and Brit controls the left side. When someone touches the hand of one of the girls, the other girl does not feel it .Despite the above, the sisters can do many things as one person: like playing the piano, riding a bike and even driving a car - one is in charge of the brake pedal, the other controls the gas and switches on her side .Though the Hensel's live in the same body, they are very different. As the girls themselves told in one of the documentaries, Abby likes to be at home, is not afraid of heights and loves coffee. Brit prefers to go to parties, tries to avoid heights and is indifferent to her sister's favorite drink. They have different body temperatures and can get sick separately. When the sisters do not agree, they flip a coin or ask their parents for advice.

The husband kisses and loves only one sister. But he has sex, technically, with the bodies of both at once.
In the 2000s documentary "Bound for Life," the girls' mother, Patty Hensel, revealed that her daughters want to have children someday. According to her, they have no problems with their reproductive systems. "Yes, we're going to be moms," Brittany confirmed at the time. - But we haven't thought about it yet" .Whether the sisters plan to have a baby in the near future is unknown. Since the twins share blood and reproductive systems and their DNA is identical, the baby will get two biological mothers. One of the doctors told us that since the girls control different sides of their own bodies, it is impossible to tell which of them enjoys intercourse and which will feel pain during labor. "There may or may not be a separation of sensitivity zones," he said.
