Changes in Dress Code at AE Expo

The Adult Entertainment Expo (AE Expo), one of the adult entertainment industry's premier events, is back in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 23-25, 2024, at the Resorts Hotel. What's catching everyone's attention this year is the significant overhaul of the dress code and conduct policies.

AVN Show

In a noticeable shift from previous editions, the AE Expo has introduced specific guidelines for appropriate attire. While the event celebrates adult entertainment, it's also committed to maintaining a respectful and professional atmosphere.

Breast Coverage: The updated rules clearly state that pasties are no longer allowed. Attendees must cover their breasts with bikini tops or similar clothing. Bikini tops are now the minimum acceptable attire for breast coverage.

Thong Guidelines: Thongs, a common choice at such events, are still permitted but under strict conditions. They must provide full coverage for the genitals, ensuring no pubic hair is exposed. Additionally, the thong should entirely cover the anus and the surrounding skin. A mere string across the anus is considered inadequate.

Transparency in Attire: Sheer or transparent clothing is prohibited unless it adheres to the aforementioned guidelines for breast and genital coverage.

Prohibited Conduct

Apart from the dress code, the AE Expo has also established clear conduct guidelines to maintain decorum at the event:

Wearing Minimal Wardrobe: Attendees wearing minimal attire, as described above, are not allowed to wear such clothing outside the event premises, restricting exposure to within the expo grounds.

Nudity: Full nudity is strictly forbidden throughout the Expo, including all event locations like the show floor, registration areas, lobbies, meeting rooms, and special event spaces.

Sexual Behavior: Any form of sexual behavior, whether real or simulated, is banned, including actions that suggest sexual activities.

Exhibition of Bodily Fluids: Displaying bodily fluids or excretions, even in a simulated manner, is strictly prohibited.

Flashing: Flashing, defined as exposing genitalia, the areola or nipples of female breasts, or the anus, is not allowed.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Expo, including the show floor and event rooms.

These updated rules reflect a growing trend in industry events, where organizers aim to strike a balance between the event's nature and providing a respectful and safe environment for all attendees. As the AE Expo draws near, participants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these regulations to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience during the expo.
