SEXUAL FRUSTRATION

Sexuality is as individual to each person as fingerprints. That's why it's possible for partners to have a diverging libido and one of them to be frustrated by the fact that they don't get enough sex or have too much. This happens in both heterosexual and homosexual relationships. Additional tension is also superimposed by generally accepted stereotypes. Our society is used to thinking that men want more sex and women want less. This, of course, is not a valid statement, but thanks to it, many women often experience sexual frustration – not only because they consider it inappropriate to show their great sexual appetite, but also because when a man refuses them, they take it as a blow to their self-esteem (after all, men want sex all the time, right?) In men, it is the same – a man may have less desire for sex, But frustration comes from the social pressure to want sex with anyone, anytime.

Many people get frustrated when their partner just "doesn't understand" what they want. We all know that people can't read minds, yet we often demand it. For example, if a fantasy expects to be fulfilled, or worse, if something that was a trademark of love between the two suddenly disappears. Many people remain silent when they feel the lack of something, but internally frustration increases and suppresses the possibility of receiving pleasure.

Sexual frustration is not limited to people with a partner. The very fact that a person has no one to have sex with can be a huge occasion for such feelings. In milder cases, the phenomenon can occur during masturbation, when the sex toy's batteries run out or someone interrupts you before you can. Then you can just stay in a bad mood.

In some cases, however, sexual frustration can go beyond the bedroom and turn into nervousness, even aggression. Therefore, it is very important to identify the problem and, if there is another person involved, to find a solution.
