Facial Shape Could Indicate Sexual Aggression and Interest

Scientists have revealed an intriguing link between facial shapes and certain behaviors, particularly in the realm of relationships and sexuality. According to a study involving 145 young individuals, their facial dimensions were compared to their responses on relationship and sexual inclination questionnaires. Subsequently, another group of 314 people was surveyed, incorporating queries regarding sexual orientation, propensity for infidelity, and interest in casual sex.

The results unveiled a compelling pattern: participants with squarer and shorter facial shapes exhibited a greater inclination towards casual sexual encounters, infidelity, and aggressive behavior within relationships. This correlation between facial width-to-height ratio and behavior tendencies is attributed to testosterone levels, as highlighted by researchers. Testosterone not only influences facial structure but also significantly impacts sexual behavior, hinting at the potential ability of facial features to signal aspects of sexual behavior.

The influence of testosterone on both facial features and sexual conduct sheds light on the connection between biology and behavior.
