Identifying Uncomfortable Intimate Spaces
British sociologists conducted a vast international study supported by phone and online surveys, outlining a ranking of the most inconvenient and unsafe places for engaging in sexual activities. According to European perceptions, the following places top the list:
Kitchen Table: Respondents highlighted shards from glasses and plates left after a romantic meal as the primary causes of potential injuries in this space.
Shower Cabin: This area poses risks of joint strains and injuries from slipping, falling, and, unfortunately, potentially waking up to casts due to dislocations or limb fractures. Ninety-five percent of those surveyed noted that reaching an orgasm during shower or bath sex was challenging.
Office Built-In Closet: Risks here include abrasions, fractures, bruises, dislocations, and even the risk of termination of employment.
Stairwells and Entrances: For 43% of respondents, having sex in an entrance is better suited for movie screens depicting love rather than practicality. Standing position difficulties in reaching orgasm and unhygienic conditions leading to a 4.9 out of 5 chance of contracting an illness like "cholera" were noted.
