Nudists will be forced to pay for sex on the beach

After complaints from local residents, the authorities of the city of Vere in the Zealand region promised to toughen the punishment for couples who have sex on the beach for nudists in the Oranjeson reserve. Sex in public places in the Netherlands has been banned for a long time, but now, instead of warning, violators in Oranjezone will be forced to pay a large fine.

Mayor Frederik Scuvenaar said that the city authorities receive from local residents from 25 to 30 complaints a year in connection with sexual activity on the beach.

Naked rest is allowed on the beach, and, of course, no one forbids people to love each other. The problems begin when this place becomes a point for having sex. This leads to undesirable situations, which, in my opinion, are unsafe

Eight shields with eloquent prohibitory signs have already been installed around the beach, which depict two crossed-out pairs of feet directed towards each other and symbolizing sexual intercourse.

At the same time, the owners of local cafes and eateries are surprised by such a step by the authorities and deny that the situation with public sex has worsened in recent years. On the contrary, they believe that the measures taken can lead to the opposite consequences: people from other areas and cities will learn that Oranjeson beach is a convenient place for sex in nature. In addition, some believe that behind the complaints are not ordinary citizens, but the local community of Orthodox Protestants.
