According to experts, Russian and Chinese tour operators are in constant contact, but to start work on the exchange of tourists, you need to conclude contracts, which will take some time. It is also necessary to coordinate and install charter chains - the launch of such flights and, as a result, a reduction in the price of a flight is a prerequisite for the formation of a flow of group Chinese tourists to Russia.
"Hoteliers should carry out redevelopment, understand what capacities they are ready to provide for the reception of Chinese tourists," says Alexander Lvov, chairman of the World Without Borders council. - The market now has competition with domestic tourism, many hoteliers have already planned their volumes for the season. Of course, we are not talking about the complete replacement of the Chinese market with the domestic one. But to receive groups from China, hoteliers will have to do some preparatory work.

"We understand that a lot of work needs to be done from the statement on the restoration of the agreement to the actual date of the resumption of the flow of tourists from China - and not only at the state level. Even if we assume that the date of the resumption of the visa-free flow will indeed be announced in July, we have most likely already missed the summer season," added Oleksandr Lvov.

Trips will be organized by intergovernmental agreement by tour operators from both the Russian Federation and the PRC. The document stipulates that group organized tourists from China and Russia will be able to use a visa-free regime in the territory of the country of arrival for 15 days.
