Sarah Jessica Parker revealed details of Kim Cattrall's cameo in "And Just Like That," the sequel to "Sex and the City." She shared the details in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
As the actress said, the episode shows a telephone conversation between her character Carrie Bradshaw and her longtime friend Samantha Jones (Cattrall).
"It's a really good moment in the story, a logical event in Carrie's life when Samantha calls. They have a short, charming, sentimental, hilarious conversation," Parker explained.
According to the actress, friendship with Samantha is very important for Carrie.
The premiere of the series "And Just Like That" is scheduled for June 22. The appearance of Cattrall in it became known at the beginning of the month. On the set of the cameo, the actress did not intersect with other stars of the series and showrunner Michael Patrick King.
In 2016, Kim announced that she would no longer play Samantha. She was disappointed by the script of the third feature film about the heroines of "Sex and the City".
